It’s the Marvel crossover to end all crossovers. Seven years since Endgame was released, Avengers: Doomsday is coming, bringing together OG Avenger Thor, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, the X-Men and beyond, all to try and defeat Doctor Doom and save the multiverse.

What is the plot of Avengers: Doomsday?
Heroes across the multiverse are drawn together to work against a common enemy. Thor brings together the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, the X-Men, the Wakandians and more to fight back against Doctor Doom, who threatens to destory everything they know.

When is Avengers: Doomsday being released?
Initially slated for a May 2026 release, Avengers: Doomsday’s release date got postponed, now set to release on 17th December alongside Dune: Part Three. The internet has already christened it DunesDay.

How long will Avengers: Doomsday be?
The official runtime for Avengers: Doomsday is not yet known as the Russo brothers are still in the thick of the edit.
Anthony Russo spoke to Collider and said, “It’s too early to say what the running time is. But it’s substantial. Hopefully we will make you happy. We’re deep in the edit, but we are not finished with the movie. We’re still kneading the dough, and will continue to for as long as we can. The movie is so complex, it’s so layered, there are so many amazing characters in the film. Joe and I love the editing process, and we continue to find new things as we continue to work on the film.”
Is Deadpool going to be in Avengers: Doomsday?
While Ryan Reynolds, aka Deadpool, did make an appearance in Hall H during the Marvel presentation at SDCC, asking if perhaps they were still filming Avengers: Doomsday, it remains unclear whether Deadpool will have a starring role in Avenger: Doomsday. Whether a stunt to keep fans off the scent, or confirmation he hasn't made the cut, we'll have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure. But, don't worry, Deadpool 4 is coming...
When is Avengers: Secret Wars coming out?
The conclusion of Phase Six and the Russo Brothers' final Marvel film (apparently), you'll have to wait a whole year after Doomsday for Avengers: Secret Wars, releasing on 17th December, 2027.
