Rolling out the red carpet, Disney is introducing a new certification for watching Avengers: Endgame Encore and Avengers: Doomsday on only the very best cinema screens with the launch of INFINITY VISION, with the possibility for future Disney movies to also be released in INFINITY VISION.

Disney launches INFINITY VISION certification at Comic Con
Disney announced INFINITY VISION at Comic Con earlier this year, a brand new certification awarded to Premium Large Format (PLF) cinemas. In other words, these are screens that meet a certain specification worthy of the punchiest blockbusters across both image and sound.
Reach for INFINITY VISION and beyond and you’re guaranteed the biggest, brightest, and most immersive experience at the cinema.
As detailed by Walt Disney Studios, INFINITY VISION has a rigorous criteria including:
- The largest screens for maximum scale
- Laser projection for superior brightness and clarity
- Premium audio formats for fully immersive sound
Given its launching with Avengers: Endgame Encore and Avengers: Doomsday, expect bold colours, striking details, and booming sound to match. At Cineworld, this means any screening you see marked with INFINITY VISION meets the certification. This includes qualifying 4DX and SCREENX screens.
Speaking on the launch of INFINITY VISION, Head of Theatrical Distribution for The Walt Disney Studios said, “Disney’s standards for production quality are second to none, with every single detail of a film finely tuned for an immersive experience. Book Avengers: Endgame Encore in 4DX or SCREENX and you’ll be booking an INFINITY VISION certified screening. This means you'll still have the same experience whether you opt for 4DX or SCREENX with all the extra trimmings, just with the added reassurance its INFINITY VISION certified.
As mentioned, the additional 4 minutes included in the re-release of Avengers: Endgame will only be in INFINITY VISION screenings and select 2D screenings at qualifying cinemas.
