NT Live: The Playboy of the Western World (28th May)
A dreamy Irish duo if ever we saw one, Nicola Coughlan, Éanna Hardwicke, and Siobhàn McSweeney star in John Millington Synge’s brilliant story, directed by Caitríona McLaughlin.
The Playboy of the Western World follows Pegeen Flaherty, a landlady whose life is forever changed when a man, Christy Mahon, enters her pub and claims to have killed his father. Bedding his way into village life, his comfortable life is threatened when a second man turns up…

The Met 2025-26: El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego (30th May)
To say that the art, love and lives of Mexican painters Kahlo and Diego Rivera were colourful hardly does them justice. Their passion – for each other, for politics and for creativity – lends itself naturally to opera. Richly expressive music and bold visual storytelling bring their world to life, inspired by the paintings themselves.
This magical realist reimagining of their lives will be screened at Cineworld on 30th May.

BTS Busan Asiad Main Stadium Arirang Tour (13th June)
Korean boy band BTS are on mammoth world tour spanning an entire year. The Arirang Tour, performing more than 80 shows in over 30 cities is massive – the biggest of any Korean musician. To BTS fans, the ARMY, this is a huge moment, and for the boys too.
On 13th June, BTS perform at Busan Asiad Main Stadium for a homecoming concert that’s being shown live at cinemas worldwide. This phenomenal moment means BTS fans from across the globe can join-up and share a stunning moment in the band’s history.
The venue and the date are significant because the stadium is the last place they played in before the boys’ enlistment gap over three years ago, and 13th June is when they made their debut.
A 360-degree in the round stage design will make this a really exciting event. So book your tickets for BTS when they go on sale on 28th May!
NT Live: Les Liaisons Dangeruses (25th June)
Heart still racing at the thought of Aiden Turner in Rivals? Throw in some French and it’s almost too irresistible. Get another opportunity to watch Lesley Manville alongside Turner in the National Theatre’s Les Liaisons Dangereuses based on the Choderlos de Laclos classic novel. It’s all power and riches as women are a slave to their reputation while men revel in debauchery.

Andre Rieu's 2026 Summer Concert: Viva Maastricht! (8th August)
Andre Rieu is a violinist and showman who is much loved by millions around the world for his hugely popular, highly enjoyable open-air summer concerts. With its crossover of classical music and crowd-pleasing favourites, his open-air concerts have been bringing joy for 20 years. To celebrate, this summer he’s staging a spectacular concert in a square in his hometown of Maastricht that’s guaranteed to get the whole town dancing.
