Cineworld Unlimited members fell hard for One Night Only at the latest advanced screening

When a rom-com film has a premise that appeals to non-rom-com fans just as much as die-hard romantics, then you know you’re onto something special.

The concept behind One Night Only is neat, quirky, and just a little bit sexy. It’s set in New York (always a winner) and tracks two New Yorkers out looking for love. This particular night is a special one that’s marked on singletons’ calendars – it’s the only night of the year when sex is legal for single people.

Cue a city with snogging on every corner, plenty of slapstick humour, and lots of near misses between our two leads. Who do eventually ‘bump’ into each other, literally. But will they get it on? Directed by Will Gluck, it stars Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner as Allie and Owen.

Lucky Cineworld Unlimited members got to watch One Night Only early last night and took to X to share their views.

And the ones who loved it so much they want to see it again can because, they are Unlimited members. Which means just that: watch as many films as you like, as many times as you like. Who wouldn’t fancy tha? Click on the link to start your Unlimited journey.

There’s the misconception that rom-com don’t have wide appeal and that’s certainly not true of One Night Only, as Cam noticed.

Dreaming of a romantic comedy with a fresh new face that’s unique and not like anything you’ve seen before? This could be that movie.

Val points out that there was lots of com to the rom. Always a good thing!

Keep your eyes peeled for surprise appearances from Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, who both featured in Will Gluck’s Anyone But You.

Jackofherts got to the heart of the matter – the on-screen chemistry between the main stars fizzed. Exactly what we want from our rom-coms!
