You spend the night with someone who feels like your soulmate… only to realise you saved their number wrong. How far would you go to find them again?
Finding Emily (2026) follows a student and aspiring musician named Owen whose chance encounter with his dream girl takes an unexpected turn when he’s left with the wrong phone number. Determined to track her down, he teams up with a fellow student, sparking a campus-wide search that puts both their hearts and ambitions to the test.
From the producers of Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001) and Love Actually (2003), Finding Emily wears its romantic comedy influences proudly. Fans online have already spotted the trailer’s stylish nods to beloved rom-coms of the 1980s and 1990s, blending classic charm with a fresh modern taken.
Our Unlimited members were among the first to see the film at a special early screening, which was filled with plenty of feel-good vibes. Tickets for Finding Emily are on sale now from Thursday 22nd May, but what did our lucky Unlimited audience think of this charming new rom-com?

You’ll fall in love with the lead characters, while writer Rachel Hirons has already earned praise for the film’s heartfelt dialogue.
Charmingly British, with great dialogue which endears you to the characters. I really liked how unabashedly honest and open Owen is, I think he's a great role model for men. It's good to follow your heart, and love purely and proudly with no shame (provided it's mutual of course)

We can also get on board with a little bit of chaos! Angourie Rice and Spike Fearn shine in the lead roles.

Enjoyable rom-com with the misadventure of one love-struck guy & his quest to find a girl he met one night in a Uni bar. Aided by a female student who has an ulterior motive, & things get a bit out of hand.
Fun, & smart
❤️❤️❤️

Just five months into an already incredible year for cinema, this is praise worth paying attention to.
one of my favourite films of the year

Double bill screening idea, anyone?
Cute romcom that feels like it would make for an ironic double bill with Obsession.

It has a killer soundtrack, too, featuring tracks from New Order, Nia Archives and James Blake. As is the law in the world of rom-coms!
I was surprised by how much I was drawn in by the characters and became really invested in what happened to them. Really enjoyed it and good soundtrack, too. #FindingEmily
