Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (showing now)

The fourth and final film in the popular rom-com series sees Renée Zellweger’s hapless heroine living as a widowed mum-of-two following the tragic death of her husband Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). However, this being Bridget Jones, it isn’t long before she’s sizing up potential love interests – including a youthful park ranger named Roxster (Leo Woodall).

With hilarity by the bucketload, and Hugh Grant also making a return as Daniel Cleaver, there’s lots to like about this climactic caper.

Mickey 17 (from 7 March)

One of the year’s most hotly anticipated releases, this mind-bending sci-fi comedy comes from the imagination of Bong Joon Ho, the Oscar-winning director of Parasite.

It follows the (mis)fortunes of Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), a down-on-his-luck Earthling who signs up to become an expendable clone worker on a nearby colony planet. Despite being killed in numerous unpleasant ways, Mickey seems fairly content in his new job – until an unexpected glitch threatens to ruin everything.

Showing in standard, IMAX, 4DX and Superscreen formats

Black Bag (from 14 March)

Genre-defying director Steven Soderbergh bounces from his first-person ghost story Presence to this slickly entertaining, all-star spy thriller that's set in the world of high espionage. Michael Fassbender stars as a man who is forced to out his super-spy wife, played by Cate Blanchett. Pierce Brosnan, Rege Jean-Page, Naomie Harris and Marisa Abela co-star.

Disney’s Snow White (from 21 March)

A live-action reimagining of the popular Brothers Grimm tale – and a reboot of its own 1937 classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Disney’s Snow White is a musical fantasy starring Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) as the titular heroine and Gal Gadot as her nemesis, the Evil Queen.

Featuring nostalgic visuals and a bunch of new songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (who penned the tunes for 2019’s Aladdin), this magical adventure promises to be a treat for the whole family.

The Alto Knights (from 21 March)

A crime drama starring Robert De Niro and written by Nicholas Pileggi – sound familiar? Yes, The Alto Knights shares similarities with Goodfellas, only this time the action focuses on the rivalry between 1950s Mob bosses Vito Genovese and Frank Costello – both played here by De Niro.

Directed by Barry ‘Rain Man’ Levinson (his first film for ten years), this gripping crime epic is an absolute must for fans of the genre.

Novocaine (from March 28)

Jack Quaid (The Boys) leads this outrageously funny (and gory) action-comedy. When the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.

A Working Man (from March 28)

Britain's finest hardman Jason Statham reunites with the director of The Beekeeper, David Ayer, for another round of slickly choreographed mayhem. Levon Cade (Jason Statham) left his profession behind to work construction and be a good dad to his daughter. But when a local girl vanishes, he's asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counter-terrorism.
