Milly Alcock is soon to soar onto our screens with Krypto in tow as DC Universe’s Supergirl. A hero with a little more spunk than the squeaky clean David Corenswet’s Superman, this new entry into James Gunn’s reboot sees Supergirl unwillingly pulled in to fight against the bad guys when her furry companion is harmed.

Director Craig Gillespie – known for films such as Cruella and I, Tonya – said to expect the way scenes are shot and camerawork to reflect Kara’s emotions. On scenes where Kara is angry the director said shots will include “frenetically messy, aggressive kind of camera work,” while her calmer, more focused states will be conveyed with “more fluid” shots.
