What is The Ghost in the Shell about?
Based on the manga published between 1989 and 1991, The Ghost in the Shell is set in a not too distant future in which cybernetic enhancement is the norm. A timely adaptation, The Ghost in the Shell explores human consciousness and artificial intelligence, cybercrime, hacking, and state control, all through the character of Major Motoko Kusanagi, a cybernetic operative working in Public Security Section 9.
When will The Ghost in the Shell be released?
Coming to Cineworld this week, you’ll be able to attend a special premiere screening of the first two episodes from 26th June. This will be a dubbed version, with screenings happening up until 2nd July. So you’ve got a window of a week to get yourself to Cineworld and watch The Ghost in the Shell.
