Last night saw our advance Unlimited screening of brutally exciting Denzel Washington sequel The Equalizer 2. The Oscar-winning star reunites with director Antoine Fuqua as lone vigilante Robert McCall returns to the big screen to dispense more justice.
The Unlimited responses are in, starting with this from That Bearded Guy.
Found it fun, thrilling and comical. Denzel proving he's still a beast in his 60s all while being a caring member of society by helping his fellow "man"

Better than the first? Hmmm debatable but definitely as good as.
Will definitely see it again on its official release.
Jamie Evans notes the fact this is a watershed moment in Washington's remarkable career.
Awesome film, classic denzel, also a fun fact I found out last night that shocked me, that’s denzels first ever sequel film #equalizer2

Graham Walters says Washington's fiery charisma singlehandedly raises the entire movie.
It was a good film but at the same time too predictable and too many sub plots bogging it down.

Denzel was superb though and made what would have been an average film into a good film.
G Tro says the movie builds into a memorable finale.
I really enjoyed it. Felt a bit slow at times but the action was superb. Great final act too

A somewhat more mixed response comes from Max Balfour, who nevertheless lauds Washington's performance.
By the numbers for first and second act, with an amazingly good third act. Retread of the first one but more of the same isn't a problem at all.

Even in a cookie cutter action film Denzel brings his A Game
Thanks everyone for your responses. Anyone else who was at last night's screening, tweet us your thoughts @Cineworld and using #CineworldUnlimited. The Equalizer 2 goes on general release on 17th August.
