The Persian Version delivers a rich cultural experience for Unlimited members and they’ve shared their reactions

The witty and spirited comedy-drama The Persian Version presents a fascinating clash between two different cultures. Unlimited members were treated to an advance screening of the latest must-see film from director Maryam Keshavarz, director of the acclaimed 2011 Iranian movie Circumstance. So, if you're feeling some serious FOMO and want in on the Unlimited perks, scroll to the bottom of this post and sign up today.

In the meantime, it's time to check out the positive reactions from last night's screening. The film depicts the life of Iranian-American woman Leila (Layla Mohammadi) who strives to find balance and embrace her opposing cultures, while boldly challenging the labels society is so quick to project upon her. When her family reunites in New York City for her father’s heart transplant, Leila navigates her relationships at arm’s length to keep her “real” life separate from her family life.

Here's what Unlimited members made of the film.

If you missed the screening, then catch The Persian Version in Cineworld from March 22nd.

If you're an Unlimited member, then don't miss your next screening, which is Monster. It's the latest film from acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda (Shoplifters) and dramatises the fall-out between a mother, her troubled son and her son's school teacher. Monster showcases the last completed film score from the noted Ryuichi Sakamoto and screens in advance on March 11th. Book your tickets below.
