Guillermo del Toro presents this barnstorming yarn adapted from Alvin Schwartz's bestselling book series. Originally published between 1981 and 1991, the Scary Stories anthologies famously terrified many an American child into a sleepless night.

The movie adaptation takes key images and themes from Schwartz's text, as a haunted book unleashes some nasty ghouls upon a sleepy American town.
