Russell Crowe has a devil of a time in the new faith-based horror-chiller The Pope's Exorcist. Crowe plays the real-life Vatican operative Father Gabriele Amorth in this jump-tastic shocker, and it recently screened for Cineworld Unlimited members. Here's what they thought.
Really enjoyed this one tonight, as far as I know this is my first time going to an Unlimited Screening and I’ve been a member almost a year and a half now. Loads of fun and a good horror movie.

Enjoyably ridiculous! It's this decade's "Drag Me to Hell"

Enjoyable but if fun horror, loved the 80s soundtrack, @russellcrowe came across great as #ThePopeExorcist and that ending, wow I really wasn't expecting it to go that way!

It definitely spooked me at times. But every time Russel Crowe says “god” I can’t stop thinking of him as Zeus in Thor Love and Thunder pic.twitter.com/GrRyc4xycq

Well that was a strange film. Tonally all over the place. Is it a teen movie with the soundtrack? Is it a horror with the blood and gore? Is it a buddy movie with the two priests? It’s all of them! Loved it. #ThePopesExorcist @cineworld #UNLIMITED
