Secret Screaming 4 took place last night, so did you guess the mystery horror movie correctly? If you didn't attend, we can announce it was Companion, the critically acclaimed new thriller starring Sophie Thatcher (Heretic) and Jack Quaid (The Boys).
This provocative study of obsession and identity centres around the fictional website FindYourCompanion.com, which sets lonely individuals up with their ideal partner – only said partner isn't human. The movie follows a weekend getaway among friends at a remote cabin, which unravels into chaos after a revelation that one of the guests is a companion robot.
With its talented young cast and on-the-money themes, Companion holds a mirror up to the contemporary dating scene while also mining the darker side of human nature for darkly comic effect. It's from the makers of the unpredictable 2022 horror Barbarian so you can expect more than a few twists.
We've curated some of the reactions from last night's screening so check them out below and book your Companion tickets at the end of this post.

Follows the standard theme in AI movies and TV shows where AI becomes a threat to humanity!!
Best secret screaming for me yet.
I was so glad that the Cineworld Secret Screaming was #Companion, although I would say screaming with fear or terror but more towards the comedic timing of this comedy horror.
