Lucky Cineworld Unlimited members got treated to an advance screening of the raucous Sandra Bullock/Channing Tatum comedy The Lost City.
This madcap adventure pairs Bullock's neurotic author with Tatum's air-headed cover model as they end up stranded in a remote jungle. Pursued by Daniel Radcliffe's maniacal villain, who is convinced that he's on the cusp of discovering hidden treasure, the movie melds Romancing the Stone with Speed and a dash of Magic Mike. What's not to like?
We invited Unlimited members to share their responses and we've curated a few of them.
Well at our screening we had lots of great laughter, and I was definitely chuckling along at other times, as well as to the big laughs. It was so much better than the trailer and I think the chemistry of Sandra bullock and @channingtatum really made the film. 9/10

It was good, definitely not what I was expecting but it was entertaining, fun and had a genuinely entertaining narrative! Characters were a lot of fun too which tied together the story and film very well.

Thoroughly enjoyed #TheLostCity a rip roaring adventure with definite #RomancingTheStone vibes and brilliantly played by Bullock and Tatum! I may even go and see it again once it's on general release but very glad to have seen it early thanks to #CineworldUnlimited

the chemistry between SandyB and Taters was great, and Dan made a suitably unhinged bad guy, but the gags rarely hit the heights i was hoping for. perfectly fun and watchable, but it felt one script punch-up away from being done.

The Lost City is predictable and about twenty minutes too long. Despite this, I had a lot of fun watching it as it’s an adventure packed comedy similar to Romancing The Stone and features amusing performances by Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. #TheLostCity https://t.co/TEBQDmQUQk pic.twitter.com/OQX31K4O27

I have been pumped to see this movie for a while now and it did not disappoint, a fun ride, the chemistry between #ChaningTatum and #SandraBullock is off the charts. Plus #DanielRadcliffe chews the scenery as the moustache twirling villain.

There are two more Unlimited screenings coming this spring. First up, Colin Firth aims to fool the Third Reich in the gripping, fact-based World War II drama Operation Mincemeat (5th April).
After that, we present Nicolas Cage at the apex of his career: the famously eccentric actor plays himself (in fact, multiple versions of) in the surreal The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (22nd April).
