Step right up and watch the finale of The Amazing Digital Circus in 4DX and Superscreen

The viral internet sensation is coming to a screen near you. We never thought we’d see that sentence. But here we are. We’re stoked that The Amazing Digital Circus is going up a screen size, and then some, as it migrates from YouTube to the big screen, so imagine how wide our eyes got at the thought of it being screened in 4DX and Superscreen. I guess why stop at big when you can go full-blown circus huge?

So what can we expect in a special format. The same dark psychological edge and humour, seesawing between light and dark. If it hits that hard on a laptop, imagine the feels on Superscreen. Then throw in 4DX, with its motion seats and environmental effects, and every sense is in on it and we’re all in. Can’t wait to book a seat? As big as it gets – watch The Amazing Digital Circus in 4DX

The cool animation and its somewhat garish style feels completely at odds with the dark themes of the show’s narrative. Uber-bright rudimentary graphic design clash and contrast – driving the themes home even harder. Existential dread is married with rainbow colours and child-like animation to confuse the viewer and pump the story along. And we’re here for it.

We’re looking forward to feeling as lost as the characters do, as they roam the vast spaces of the digital circus. They look so tiny, swallowed up by that giant chequerboard floor. And we can’t wait to see Caine’s eyeballs popping out of his head, like they’re punching their way out of the screen.

Those big surprises – like the car popping out of Caine’s mouth while he flosses his teeth with a stretched-out Jax – will hit 100 times harder in 4DX, and you’ll feel the jolt in your motion sensor seat as the car lands on the floor. Everything will seem bigger and better, the intensity, the emotion, the effects – as well as the visuals and audio. Big screen means you’ll enjoy the film even more!

And if the sight of a maniacal Caine malfunctioning and being fried isn’t enough of a gift, if you’d like a memento to remember your screening by, you get a free poster if you go to a 4DX screening on 4th June. So you’ll have something to remember your trip to The Amazing Digital Circus by.

Get inside the tent with a Superscreen viewing

If you want to go big but don’t want the bells and whistles of 4DX and its environmental effects then go Superscreen which goes all in on sound, and doesn’t hold back. The colour and visuals alone of The Amazing Digital Circus are worth seeing in a special format that’ll blow up the film even more, meaning you can appreciate every detail of the animation, from the characters’ bodies to the expressions on their faces. That’s not just an eyebrow movement it tells us how they’re feeling. And there’s no missing that in Superscreen.

Caine, larger than life at normal screen size, takes on a whole new aura as he’s maxed out. His controlling nature, his perplexity at his guests and his attempts to keep them entertained all take on a special emphasis. Add to that the impact of the sound effects and it all heightens the action. You will feel like you’re actually in the Circus being bossed about by Caine himself. Have… er, fun.

A big moment deserves a big screen

This is a big moment in the history of The Amazing Digital Circus, you know it’ll remain on YouTube forever so will be there whenever you need to watch and rewatch. But this is your chance to go and view it in all its enormous glory. The creator has said this is the final outing for the series, so this is a momentous occasion to mark, and a fittingly grand way to mark it.

While you’re waiting for the screenings to come around, you can mull on the big questions the film inspires, such as: who would you take to the circus with you, and who would you leave behind?

Book a seat for them (or just a seat for you) ahead of the screening on 4th June.
