Last night saw our Secret Screening play out in front of rapt Cineworld crowds. If you've missed the social media buzz, we can tell you that the movie was Disney-Pixar's gorgeously designed new animation Elemental, which hits screens this July.
The movie takes place in Element City where the various elements (earth, fire, water, air) are anthropomorphized and interact with one another. When watery dude Wade (Mamoudou Athie) meets and falls for the fiery Ember (Leah Lewis), it will be the ultimate test as to whether opposites attract.
Here's a small sampling of the reactions from the screening.
It's almost a classic Pixar film, great fun with the laughs and drama and the beauty you expect from a Pixar film. Not as bad as it could of been. 7.5/10 rating. See it on the big screen, not on useless Disney small screen TV.

It was good solid Pixar. A nice story about being the child of immigrants and finding that balance between respecting your ancestry and carving your own path. Thought the animation was beautiful, the way the Fire and Water elements moved & breathed. Ending was a bit cheesy

Have to admit at first when I saw it was Elemental I was disappointed. Not really my kind of film, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Not the best Pixar film, but its a good film. Funny and emotional. I'd give it 7/10.

It was really beautiful to look at.

Unfortunately it is not a very good film, it chose to prioritise social allegories and messaging over a really good Story and I predict it will lose money overall.
Stayed to the end though & the UP short at the beginning was fantastic.
It wasn’t what I hoped it would be but it’s a film I probably wouldn’t have gone to see and I’m glad I stayed! Some great visuals, soundtrack was good and, as with all Pixar films, I had a cry!! It wasn’t the best animated film I’ve seen but it was an enjoyable night out!

Missed the Secret Screening? Don't forget we have two more coming very soon. Secret Screening 5 is on July 8th and Secret Screening 6 is on July 24th.
Of course, we can't tell you what they are – but that's all part of the fun. However, that shouldn't stop you from taking a guess as to what they might be.
Don't forget to tweet us @Cineworld and using #SecretScreening with your movie guesses.
