"Amazing" is how pop star Rita Ora describes the forthcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie. The bestselling artist plays Mia, adopted sister of central character Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) – the latter of whom enters into a kinky relationship with mysterious millionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan).
The film is of course adapted from the first book in E.L. James' phenomenally successful Fifty Shades trilogy. And Rita is promising great things. "I had to be involved, I love the books," she said in an interview with Capital FM. "I know everybody’s going to watch it, whether it’s in secret or confidence, but everyone’s going to watch it."
A bonafide sensation off the back of her debut album 'Ora', Rita now takes on her first substantial movie role. "It’s going to be fun," she says. "I look really different and it was a good experience."
Given Rita's eclectic fashion sense and her status as something of a fashion icon, we can't wait to see how different she looks in the film. Fifty Shades of Grey is set for release on 13 February 2015.
