Last week saw the release at Cineworld cinemas of the new Disney blockbuster Jungle Cruise. Inspired by the Disney theme park ride of the same name, the film stars Dwayne Johnson as a wise-cracking riverboat captain who leads a scientist (Emily Blunt) into the deepest, darkest jungle to locate an ancient tree that could change the future of medicine. Along the way, they encounter a whole range of nasty creatures and deadly hazards, making director Jaume Collet-Serra's film one of the most action-packed adventures of the year.
But what have movie fans been saying about the film? Here are just a selection of tweets from those who've been to see it...

Took my son to see #JungleCruise yesterday here in the UK. We loved it! An instant classic in the vein of The Mummy and Indiana Jones. @TheRock @jackwhitehall and Emily Blunt were all superb. Excellent casting. Excellent script and awesome CGI. Sequel please 🙏

This film fan didn't specify whether they liked the movie or not, but made an interesting observation about Dwayne Johnson's performance...
Still not over the fact that #JungleCruise had The Rock use an American accent despite being stuck in the Amazon for 400years since the 16th century.

This movie buff felt that the storyline could've been a bit stronger, but enjoyed the film overall...
#JungleCruise was a fun ride with some clear influences from #IndianaJones and #Jumanji.

The Rock, Emily Blunt, and Jack Whitehall made for a great trio!
The film certainly lacked a lot in its villains and its average story but all round I had a good time with it.
6/10
But this viewer was left feeling a underwhelmed by the movie...
