Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (out now)
There’s double trouble in the new part-animated movie based on the hit videogame franchise. This time the wisecracking blue hedgehog teams up with two-tailed fox sidekick Tails. Together they must foil Dr Robotnik (a deliciously OTT Jim Carrey) and his henchman – or, rather, hench-echidna – Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) in his attempts to find the ancient Master Emerald and bend reality.
