Were you blown away by this year's Cineworld IMAX Film Fest? For those who couldn't make it, we brought back several of 2022's biggest movies including Avatar: The Way of Water, Top Gun: Maverick, The Batman and Oscar-winner Everything Everywhere All At Once. And to sweeten the deal, tickets were just £3 per movie.
The scale and scope of IMAX infuse extra depth, warmth, clarity and pin-sharp sound into some truly incredible blockbusters. We've curated some of the enthusiastic responses from those who attended, and here they are.
Wow! @allatoncemovie in @IMAX was amazing. I love the film, but to finally get to see it in #IMAX was awesome. Thank you @cineworld for today's #IMAXFilmFest.

Thank you @cineworld for your amazing @IMAX film fest event today! It was a privilege to watch @TopGunMovie #Maverick again. Just as epic as the first time I watched it back in May 2022 pic.twitter.com/EIFDiMYlXV

Are you gutted to have missed out? Then scratch that itch by taking note of the forthcoming IMAX releases at Cineworld...
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (released May 3rd)
Those irrepressible Guardians are back for their third and possibly final ride, once again headed up by Chris Pratt's likeable Peter Quill/Star-Lord. In James Gunn's final Marvel movie, the Guardians confront the legacy of the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) who is responsible for Rocket Raccoon's (Bradley Cooper) bio-engineered past. It's time to fire up the Awesome Mix and set out across the cosmos again for another spectacular adventure.
Fast X (released May 19th)
Talking of last rides... well, Fast X isn't quite it. Following the tenth instalment of the full-throttle action franchise, we are due to get an eleventh movie. For the time being, however, let's revel in Vin Diesel's V8-accentuated vocal delivery, some truly insane stunt sequences and a brand new villain, Dante, played by Jason Momoa. Prepare to welcome several regulars back to the fold including Michelle Rodriguez, Sun Kang, Jason Statham, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Helen Mirren.
The Little Mermaid (released May 26th)
Disney's latest live-action remake adapts their 1989 animated masterpiece, which is credited with kick-starting the Disney Renaissance period. Halle Bailey is our new Ariel, the mermaid who dreams of walking among the humans, and Melissa McCarthy plays the villainous Ursula who grants Ariel her wish. Jonah Hauer-King is Prince Eric, Javier Bardem is King Triton and the original film's Oscar-winning musical auteur Alan Menken is back to steer the soundtrack.
