Actor James Spader's elegantly sinister vocals dominate the latest trailer for Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Blacklist actor voices the eponymous artificial intelligence, created by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and who believes himself destined to destroy both the human race and the Avengers themselves.
If this latest promo's anything to go by, Ultron is set to become one of the best villains to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he addresses superpowered twins Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) from his throne inside a massive castle.
However, he faces stiff opposition from our heroes: Stark/Iron Man, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). But of course, the thing that's really going to get fans air-punching is the climactic, split-second appearance of The Vision (Paul Bettany)...
Teasing plenty of explosive action, including a dramatic ultimatum laid down by Thor to the evil Ultron, there's every chance Marvel's latest adventure will kick off blockbuster season in fine style. Avengers: Age of Ultron lands on 23rd April.
